Description

Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications for state-level human services systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, code, test, and debug online and batch COBOL application programs.
• Implement application changes, enhancements, and new functionality for high-profile projects.
• Develop technical documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts.
• Provide post-production support, including on-call and weekend availability as needed.
• Analyze and design programs using mainframe technologies and data structures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Proficiency with COBOL, DB2, JCL, IMS, CICS, and MVS.
• Experience with VSAM and technical writing.
• Proven background in post-production support.
• Experience working with TANF or large Health and Human Services systems.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Must be a Wisconsin resident or willing to relocate to WI at your own expense.
• Ability to attend onsite interviews and perform occasional onsite work.
• Valid work authorization (H4, TN, or other valid visas; no H1B, OPT, or CPT).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with C#.NET, XML, API, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Angular.
