Description

You will maintain and enhance existing mainframe applications as a top-level technical specialist.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, XML, and JCL.
• Analyze system impact, develop process flows, and document system architecture.
• Design, code, test, and debug application modules.
• Provide post-production support for large-scale applications and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with QA and business teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of COBOL mainframe development experience.
• 10+ years of advanced structured analysis, design, and development for online and batch applications.
• Strong experience with JCL, DB2, and SQL, including complex SQLs/SPUFI.
• 5+ years of post-production support on large-scale mainframe applications.
• Proficiency with ChangeMan and CNTL-M.
• Experience with XML, user test, system test, and UAT planning.
• Technical documentation and system/process diagramming skills.
• 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with .NET, C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, or REST services.
