COBOL Mainframe Programmer

You will manage the full lifecycle of mainframe application development and support.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design online and batch applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2 on MVS systems.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and SPUFI within DB2 environments.
• Execute user, system, and user acceptance testing plans throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide postproduction support for middle to large-scale mainframe applications.
• Write technical documentation and manage requirements analysis for system deliverables.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in COBOL application development.
• 10+ years of experience with JCL and MVS Mainframe Systems.
• 10+ years of experience with DB2 and writing complex SQLs/SPUFI.
• 10+ years of experience in structured analysis and design for online and batch applications.
• 10+ years of experience with ChangeMan and CNTL-M.
• 10+ years of experience in technical writing and documentation.
• 10+ years of experience with MS Office products, including Excel and Outlook.
• 10+ years of experience managing the system development life cycle (SDLC) deliverables.
• 5+ years of experience in requirements analysis and postproduction support.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related area.
