Description

You will develop, maintain, and transition mainframe applications from COBOL to web-based architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate design documents into structured COBOL programs.
• Maintain software by modifying data entry screens, batch processing, reports, and queries.
• Execute program changes, update test files, and validate results against requirements.
• Identify and correct data errors through application logic and develop summary reports.
• Prepare program-level and user-level documentation for the software development life cycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of COBOL development experience on Mainframe.
• Proficiency with JCL development and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 and Control-M.
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug software to meet requirements.
• Experience following formal procedures for source code management and change migration.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Java programming knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Postgres DB and Kofax experience.
