COBOL Programmer

You will maintain mainframe COBOL code and manage development and reconfigurations within a Micro Focus platformed system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing COBOL code currently running on the mainframe.
• Handle daily maintenance and development for code transitioning to a Micro Focus environment.
• Execute reconfigurations for business logic remaining within the Micro Focus platform.
• Support the migration process from mainframe systems to Micro Focus.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience as a COBOL Programmer.
• 8 years of experience working in a Micro Focus environment.
• 8 years of experience with JCL.
• 8 years of experience with DB2.
• 8 years of experience with CICS.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rexx.
• Experience with GitHub.
