Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise applications using Microfocus COBOL on Windows and UNIX platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Microfocus COBOL.
• Write queries, packages, and stored procedures using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Develop applications for Windows and UNIX platforms, including shell scripting.
• Handle multiple tasks while working independently within a team structure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience designing and developing Enterprise Applications.
• Expertise in Microfocus COBOL development.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting.
• Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g databases.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Recent experience with Microfocus and PL/SQL is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows operating systems.
