Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe software solutions for the Commerce & Compliance Application Development team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop COBOL, JCL, and CICS software solutions for mainframe initiatives.
• Write code to access and manage DB2 databases using SQL.
• Reverse engineer current systems and create documentation for current and future states.
• Design, test, and integrate changes into asset management software and production environments.
• Troubleshoot system issues to determine causes and implement fixes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe software development.
• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
• Proficiency with DB2 and SQL.
• Ability to create formal software design documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work remotely and manage tasks without direct supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Business analysis and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with Python and data science tools.
