Description

You will provide mainframe software development services to support commerce and compliance application initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop COBOL, JCL, and CICS software components for mainframe environments.
• Write SQL code to access and manage DB2 database systems.
• Perform reverse engineering of current systems and document future state processes.
• Gather business requirements through interviews and create functional specifications for data models and reports.
• Execute test plans, support user acceptance testing, and troubleshoot system issues.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
• Proficiency in DB2 and SQL.
• Experience with software design documentation and functional specifications.
• Familiarity with Python and data science tools.
• Ability to automate processes and work without direct supervision.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
