Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support applications on the IBM i / AS400 platform
• Write clean and maintainable code using COBOL/400, CL/400, SQL, and DB2/400
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and developers across the SDLC
• Work on integration initiatives involving APIs and external systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues
• Optimize SQL queries and ensure database performance and integrity
• Follow development best practices, coding standards, and version control processes

✅ Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in:
• COBOL/400
• AS/400 OR IBM i OR iSeries
• DB2
• CL Programming
• Strong SQL and database management skills
• Good understanding of SDLC methodologies
• Experience working with APIs and integration solutions
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Subversion
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

🌟 Preferred Skills

• Experience in system design and architecture
• Exposure to automated testing and unit testing practices
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Insurance domain experience
• Experience with WINS (Workflow and Imaging Network System)
