Description

You will develop and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and Copybooks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe COBOL, JCL, and Copybooks per project requirements.
• Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate application changes.
• Interface with business and IT teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and code.
• Participate in technical reviews and complete acceptance/integration testing with the business team.
• Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artifacts for application components.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of mainframe development experience in design, analysis, and coding.
• Proficiency in COBOL (CICS), JCL, and DB2.
• Experience with Mainframe environments, specifically z370 and MVS.
• Familiarity with CA7 and batch processing.
• Ability to work independently on COBOL program enhancements, including compiling and debugging on IBM z370.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience performing application support, security reviews, and maintenance tasks.
