Description

You will develop and support applications using COBOL and PLSQL, including reverse engineering existing systems to understand logic.

Responsibilities

• Perform development and application support tasks across various shifts.
• Analyze and reverse engineer legacy systems to map logic.
• Identify and execute test strategies, plans, and functional test cases.
• Document technical details and communicate risks to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in COBOL.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PLSQL, including database queries and procedures.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in application support and maintenance.
• Ability to capture requirements using use cases and feature-driven methods.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
• Effective communication skills for direct end-user interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Agile methodology.
