You will develop, support, and reverse-engineer legacy applications using COBOL and PLSQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL and PLSQL.
• Reverse engineer legacy systems to map and understand business logic.
• Analyze requirements, create test strategies, and execute functional test cases.
• Document technical details and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Provide application support and maintenance across various shifts.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience with COBOL.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PLSQL, including database queries and procedures.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in application support and maintenance.
• Ability to capture requirements using use cases and feature-driven methods.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
• Effective communication skills for direct end-user interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Agile methodology.
