Description

Manage and optimize distributed database systems, including large-scale data migrations and complex integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design database schemas and manage code development and transformations.
• Execute large-scale database migrations and implement ETL processes.
• Ensure data synchronization across distributed systems.
• Identify architectural roadblocks and design effective mitigation strategies.
• Extract technical requirements by analyzing business processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database engineering.
• Proficiency with CockroachDB or other distributed database systems.
• Strong experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Deep understanding of distributed database architecture.
• Expertise in database schema design and data transformation.
• Proven experience with ETL tools and data synchronization techniques.
• Ability to translate business processes into technical specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
