Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the IBM Cognos suite to support business intelligence requirements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the IBM Cognos suite, including Cognos Analytics, Report Studio, and Cognos Dashboard.
• Design and develop custom reports, dashboards, and data models aligned with business objectives.
• Manage Cognos security, including user roles, permissions, and access controls.
• Integrate Cognos with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and data warehouses.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to Cognos software, databases, and servers, and monitor performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Cognos administration and development.
• Expertise with Cognos Analytics and Cognos Report Studio.
• Experience with Cognos Dashboard and data modeling.
• Proven ability to perform performance tuning and large dataset handling.
• Experience integrating BI tools with ERP and CRM systems.
• Ability to perform data validation and reconciliation between Cognos and source systems.
• Skill in analyzing system logs and tracking performance metrics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cognos Dashboard.
