Description

You will provide technical application support for IBM Cognos and IBM TM1 BI applications in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex production issues independently or through team collaboration.
• Perform root cause analysis to devise, test, and implement permanent solutions.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, ETL, and Data teams to meet project deadlines.
• Identify recurring issues and propose process automation opportunities.
• Document technical procedures for handover to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with IBM Cognos and IBM TM1.
• Advanced IBM Cognos Analytics skills including Framework Manager, Transformer, Data Modeling, Reports, and Dashboards.
• Strong IBM TM1 (Planning Analytics) skillset.
• Proficient SQL skills, specifically with Oracle.
• Experience with job scheduling using BMC Control-M.
• Scripting experience using DOS/batch or PowerShell.
• Experience with incident management workflows and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery tools and methodologies such as Azure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to other BI tools such as PowerBI.
