Description

Migrate and update a Java/JSP Content Management Administration application for modern analytics environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing Java source code for the CMA web application.
• Establish connections between the Java application and Snowflake and Cognos Analytics.
• Refactor source code to redirect data operations from Netezza to Snowflake.
• Update source code to transition user/group management from Business Objects CMC to Cognos Analytics.
• Build executable packages, perform end-to-end testing, and manage CI/CD transport.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and JSP.
• Hands-on experience with Java SDK.
• Direct experience using Cognos SDK.
• Experience managing applications on Tomcat.
• Knowledge of Cognos Analytics.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Business Objects SDK.
• Experience with Netezza or Snowflake database environments.
