Description

You will develop and deliver BI solutions using the Cognos suite, translating analytical requirements into effective dashboards, scorecards, and reports. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate analytical requirements from Business Analysts and Data experts into effective BI solutions.
• Create dashboards, scorecards, and reports through the entire development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with ETL developers, DBAs, Project Managers, and BI developers.
• Support user ad-hoc data and analytics requests and promote Self Service BI adoption.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in BI development.
• In-depth knowledge of Cognos Analytics tools (Framework Manager, Report Studio, Powerplay Studio, Event Studio, Analysis Studio).
• Strong SQL skills for developing custom SQL and reporting views.
• Experience with ETL, CI/CD, and Agile development cycles.
• Ability to manage Jasper Reports export/import processes in various environments.
• Proven experience in creating dashboards and reports.
• Knowledge of effective Data Visualization principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with business and IT leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience promoting Self Service BI adoption across the Enterprise.
