Description

Develop and maintain reporting solutions using Cognos, supporting the full application lifecycle. You will own the code, monitor, test, and debug software applications while documenting business processes and IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Code, monitor, maintain, test, and debug software applications.
• Document existing business processes and information technology solutions.
• Follow established change management processes and facilitate code reviews.
• Develop test plans and make recommendations for hardware and software solutions.
• Troubleshoot software bugs, provide fixes, and coordinate with external service providers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in relevant technology roles.
• Expertise in Cognos ReportNet.
• Experience with .NET and Unix environments.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft and database management.
• Strong understanding of change management and application development.
• Ability to perform debugging and test plan development.
• Effective communication skills for consulting with clients and technicians.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI and Tableau.
• Knowledge of OLAP, Data Modeling, and Star Schema.
• Background in a higher education technology environment.
