Description

You will develop and maintain reporting solutions using Cognos, owning the full application lifecycle from code to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Code, monitor, maintain, test, and debug software applications.
• Document existing business processes and IT solutions.
• Follow change management processes and facilitate code reviews.
• Develop test plans and recommend hardware and software solutions.
• Troubleshoot bugs, provide fixes, and coordinate with external service providers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in relevant technology roles.
• Expertise in Cognos ReportNet.
• Experience with .NET and Unix environments.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft and database management.
• Strong understanding of change management and application development.
• Ability to perform debugging and test plan development.
• Effective communication skills for consulting with clients and technicians.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI and Tableau.
• Knowledge of OLAP, Data Modeling, and Star Schema.
• Background in a higher education technology environment.
