Description

Develop and maintain reporting solutions using IBM Cognos Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics (v11 or higher).
• Collaborate with business users to gather and document report/dashboard requirements, translating needs into technical specifications.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to source and validate data from Oracle databases and other sources.
• Perform unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshooting discrepancies and adjusting functionality.
• Maintain detailed documentation on report logic, data sources, and business rules in ticketing systems.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in Cognos report/dashboard development.
• 5–7 years of SQL development experience.
• 4–6 years working with Oracle databases.
• 3–5 years experience working for Health Plans.
• Strong experience building reports using Cognos Analytics.
• Proven ability to perform end-to-end report testing and support UAT efforts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
• Experience collaborating in distributed teams using Teams.
