Description

Design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics for business stakeholders.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex reports and dashboards in IBM Cognos Analytics (v11+).
• Collaborate with users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write and optimize SQL queries against Oracle databases to source and validate data.
• Execute unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshooting discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed documentation for report logic, data sources, and business rules in ticketing systems.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in Cognos report and dashboard development.
• 5–7 years of SQL development experience.
• 4–6 years working with Oracle databases.
• Strong experience building reports using Cognos Analytics.
• Proven ability to perform end-to-end report testing and support UAT efforts.
• Experience working for Health Plans is required.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
• Experience collaborating in distributed teams using Teams.
