Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Cognos reports and dashboards to support business intelligence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Cognos reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and data engineers to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
• Analyze data sources and perform validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Maintain documentation for report specifications, processes, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reporting and framework models.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Cognos Report Developer.
• Proficiency in IBM Cognos BI Suite, including Report Studio, Query Studio, and Analysis Studio.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with data modelling, warehousing concepts, and data integration techniques.
• Ability to develop and maintain Cognos Framework Manager models.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other BI tools such as SAP BO, Crystal Reports, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
