Description

You will lead technical development and reporting workflows using Cognos to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical team activities and provide mentorship to developers.
• Develop complex Cognos reports and inbuilt visualizations using custom SELECT queries.
• Create data models for periodic reporting, aggregate reporting, and signal detection.
• Design data functions within Cognos for advanced analysis.
• Participate in requirement gathering and manage project deliverable status reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Cognos report creation.
• Strong understanding of Cognos architecture.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and database querying.
• Experience with Argus Safety and Argus Insight databases.
• Knowledge of PV concepts within the Argus Safety product suite.
• Experience sourcing data from custom data marts or Argus Insight.
• Ability to work with Data Marts with locked versions for periodic reporting.
