Description

Manage end-to-end backup operations and storage infrastructure maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure Cohesity backup policies for Windows, Linux, SQL, Oracle, Exchange, and VM environments.
• Manage Cohesity cluster setup, installation, administration, and firmware upgrades.
• Administer storage systems (HP Nimble, ECS, PowerScale), including LUN creation, allocation, and storage pool management.
• Perform storage migrations, host connectivity checks, and iSCSI network troubleshooting.
• Execute data consistency checks, retention policy renewals, and automated backup reporting.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of experience in backup and storage administration.
• Hands-on experience with Cohesity Backup Administration and cluster setup.
• Proficiency in managing Windows, Linux, SQL, Oracle, and Exchange backups.
• Direct experience with HP Nimble, ECS, PowerScale, or Dell EMC technologies.
• Knowledge of RAID, LUN management, and storage firmware updates.
• Understanding of VMware and hypervisor environments.
• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud environments and DR setup.
• Ability to troubleshoot iSCSI storage networks.
• Strong Excel skills for data reporting and automation.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting knowledge for task automation.
• Experience using SolarWinds for infrastructure monitoring.
