Description

You will manage the migration and modernization of ColdFusion applications during version transitions, specifically upgrading from 2018 to 2023.

Responsibilities

• Analyze application code to identify features retired, removed, deprecated, or unsupported in ColdFusion 2023.
• Recommend mitigation options and define migration paths for applications requiring mediation.
• Upgrade application code to utilize HTTPS and build Azure Deploy Pipelines.
• Troubleshoot issues arising from application migrations and software/hardware configurations.
• Architect and document the logical structure for software systems and databases.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in ColdFusion solutions and application development.
• Advanced skills in developing, testing, and deploying ColdFusion applications.
• Proven experience with code analyzers and ColdFusion version migrations.
• Experience with requirements management and performing analysis within source code.
• Knowledge of Information System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Ability to document user needs and technical system requirements.
• Any Graduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
