Collibra Data Governance SME

You will serve as the subject matter expert for the design, deployment, and configuration of the Collibra Data Governance Center.

Responsibilities

• Lead Collibra implementation by customizing workflows, operating models, and metadata models, taxonomies, and business glossaries.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and data quality rules to drive lineage and stewardship programs.
• Integrate Collibra with data catalogs, ETL tools, BI platforms, and data lakes including Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Informatica, and Tableau.
• Automate metadata ingestion and governance workflows using Collibra APIs and scripting.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and BCBS 239 through compliance modules and audits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data management.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra Data Governance Center configuration, workflows, and metadata modeling.
• Proficiency in Collibra APIs, Groovy, Python, Java, or SQL for automation and ingestion.
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and Informatica.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK or DCAM.
• Practical experience with data lineage, data catalogs, and data stewardship programs.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.

Preferred Skills

• Collibra Ranger or Collibra Expert Certification.
