Description

You will support the Maternal and Child Health Division by conducting telephone interviews and collecting data for the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct telephone interviews following strict PRAMS protocols, including informed consent and specific call frequencies.
  • Manage survey administration by preparing materials, handling mail operations, and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain accurate records of telephone contacts and ensure timely data entry into PIDS.
  • Monitor survey batch progress and provide weekly communication reports regarding mailings, data entry, and telephone dispositions.

Required Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and mail merge functions.
  • Proficiency with CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) software.
  • Knowledge of survey techniques and data collection protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with survey respondents.
  • Ability to maintain high attention to detail while working independently or within a small team.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Skills

  • Associate degree or two years of college coursework in public health, communications, or social sciences.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
