Description

You will design composite airframe components, creating 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering bills of materials.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create detail, assembly, and installation airframe 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Review design definitions to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and specialty personnel to resolve technical problems and meet schedule and cost targets.
• Provide manufacturing engineering support during component fabrication and assembly.
• Support supplier activities and travel to supplier sites as required.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of airframe design experience.
• Proven working experience and technical knowledge of composites.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5, V6, or 3DX.
• Proficiency with general part sizing and GD&T.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
