Computer Aided Design Designer

You will develop technical designs and drawings while ensuring manufacturability and project integrity.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit technical drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor software.
• Develop and update bills of materials as designs progress.
• Identify design factors from customer information and design review meetings.
• Resolve mechanical and fabrication problems associated with prepared drawings.
• Verify accuracy by checking dimensions, material selection, and part relationships.

Required Skills

• 2 to 4 years of relevant design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Inventor software.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and materials.
• Ability to design modifications to existing parts.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Preferred Skills

• Two-year Associates degree.
