Description

You will apply CAD software engineering methods to investigate and solve technical problems within the design flow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply CAD software engineering methods, theories, and research techniques to solve technical issues.
• Interface with cross-functional teams, including Design, Verification, IT, and external EDA vendors, to analyze tool and flow issues.
• Define specifications, review, and validate fixes or enhancement requests for verification tools.
• Support project execution to improve cost, operational efficiency, productivity, and time to market.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in CAD, EDA, or related technical work.
• Expert proficiency in CAD debugging and root cause analysis.
• Expert proficiency in CAD scripting and automation.
• Advanced scripting skills using Python or Perl.
• Proficiency in Tcl.
• Intermediate knowledge of software engineering methods.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
