Description

You will own the administration, operation, and consulting support for compute infrastructure and operating systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full infrastructure lifecycle, including planning, installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and de-installation.
• Resolve single and cross-technology incidents independently while leading team members through complex technical issues.
• Execute change management tasks, including preparing, reviewing, implementing, and testing rollback plans.
• Perform root cause and trend analysis to proactively prevent recurring technical problems.
• Maintain accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) entries and case documentation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in compute infrastructure and operating system support.
• Expertise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Synergy Servers, ProLiant DLs, and C7000 enclosures.
• Hands-on experience with Virtual Connects and Blade Switches (SAS, Ethernet, and FC).
• Advanced administration of RHEL and SUSE operating systems in bare-metal and VM environments.
• Proficiency with VMware and Windows Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of Linux, REST API, PowerShell, and SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Experience with SAN, NAS (Ethernet/iSCSI, FC, FCoE), and DAS storage technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot OS logs using HPSR, SOSreport, and Support-Config.
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite or SUSE Manager for patch deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience conducting Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and testing.
• Ability to perform capacity, performance, and security audit analysis.
