Description

You manage VMware vSphere datacenters, resolving customer infrastructure issues via phone, email, and remote sessions while maintaining SLA compliance and quality documentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer issues and escalate them to vendors according to process guidelines.
• Administer, operate, and manage vSphere Datacenter environments including ESXi and vCenter.
• Collaborate with technology teams to diagnose and isolate complex infrastructure causes.
• Perform Problem Management, Post Incident Reviews, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Maintain operational metrics, productivity scorecards, and ITIL process adherence.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in Enterprise Managed Service environments.
• Administer vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter upgrades.
• Configure vCenter HA, DRS, Standard Switches, and Distributed Switches (DVS).
• Manage VM operations, snapshots, templates, vMotion, and storage vMotion.
• Configure vSphere Storage (iSCSI, FC, Software iSCSI, RDM) and understand SAN/NAS concepts.
• Implement vSphere security, ESXi hardening, and performance monitoring.
• Administer HPE compute platforms (ProLiant DL, Synergy, Apollo) and firmware/driver baselines.
• Apply ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

Preferred Skills

• VMware VCP, HPE certifications (ATP/ASE), RHCSA, CCNA, or ITIL certification.
• Experience working in a 24/7 support environment.
