Description

You will design, build, and maintain reporting models, dashboards, and Cognos reports to support financial compliance, owning the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to production migration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Cognos reports, dashboards, and drill-through features.
• Conduct requirements meetings to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Write complex SQL queries and manage report security, including row-level access.
• Execute unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Monitor report response times, SQL utilization, and Cognos queues.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software development or reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of IBM Cognos Reporting, Analytics, Modeling, OLAP, and ETL tools.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience using HTML tags within Cognos.
• Working knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, Java, and AWS.
• Ability to develop data visualizations and dashboards using best practices.
• Experience with Cognos automated bursting features.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
