Description

You will support computer, network, and client-server units through data verification and system monitoring.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Verify input and output data for adequacy, accuracy, and conformance to quality standards.
• Maintain internal records and manage the cataloging and dispersal of tapes and disks.
• Monitor daily processing logs and adjust schedules as required.
• Perform incident triage in an autonomous environment and escalate issues with concise documentation.

Required Skills

• 1+ year of related experience, or 2 years of related experience, or 4 years of non-related experience.
• Experience with LAN/WAN environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft OS administration.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk or similar SIEM tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and layered defense architectures.
• Knowledge of IT architecture.
• Familiarity with network defense systems including Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with Wireshark and PCAP analysis.

Preferred Skills

• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• Ethical Hacker Certification.
