Description

You will analyze existing procedures, information systems, and utility programs to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness. You will test and diagnose systems to ensure critical requirements are met. You will perform moderately complex computer systems analysis work under general supervision. You will rely on direction from others to solve non-standard problems and assist staff in performing more complex work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new or existing procedures and systems for efficiency.
• Test and diagnose systems to ensure critical requirements are met.

• Assist other staff in performing work of greater complexity.
• Execute related work as assigned.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in computer systems analysis.
• Ability to analyze information systems and utility programs.
• Experience testing and diagnosing system requirements.
• Understanding of procedure efficiency and effectiveness metrics.
• Ability to work under general supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment.
• Experience solving non-standard problems with direction from others.

Preferred Skills

• Experience assisting staff in performing complex technical work.
