Description

You will analyze and improve computer systems for science, engineering, and business data processing. You implement solutions using C# or Java, Oracle Database Server, SQL Server, and MySQL. You review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to automate or enhance existing processes. You work under supervision and travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA as required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and procedures to identify automation opportunities.
• Implement and improve computer systems using C# or Java programming languages.
• Manage enterprise-level database servers including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Review system capabilities, workflow efficiency, and scheduling limitations.
• Utilize Web Services and XML technologies for system integration.

Required Skills

• 6 months of experience with C# or Java programming languages.
• Experience working with Oracle Database Server, SQL Server, or MySQL Server.
• Understanding of Web Services and XML technologies.
• Ability to analyze business and engineering data processing problems.
• Willingness to travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, Business, or Engineering with 6 months of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, Bachelor's degree in related field with 5 years of progressive work experience.
