Description

You will analyze data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
• Review computer system capabilities, workflows, and scheduling limitations.
• Implement system improvements utilizing Java, Oracle database servers, Web Services, and XML.
• Work under supervision to solve science, engineering, or business data processing issues.
• Travel to unanticipated client sites as required.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Oracle database servers.
• Knowledge of Oracle.
• Experience with Web Services.
• Proficiency in XML.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Math, Science, Engineering, or a closely related field with 5 years of progressive work experience.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Math, Science, Engineering, or a closely related field with 6 months of experience in the role or as an IT Consultant, Developer, Programmer, or Analyst.
