Description

Analyze data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to improve computer systems.
• Evaluate user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
• Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
• Implement solutions using Java and Oracle database servers under supervision.
• Travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA as required.

Required Skills

• 6+ months of hands-on experience using Java.
• 6+ months of hands-on experience using Oracle database servers.
• 6+ months of hands-on experience with Webservices.
• Proficiency in XML.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Math, Science, Engineering, or a related field with 6 months of experience as an IT Consultant, Developer, Programmer, or Analyst.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Math, Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5 years of progressive work experience.
