Description

You will analyze existing systems and codebase to configure applications based on information systems principles and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design high volume web services using RESTful APIs to interface company products with customer systems.
• Test and verify application modules using JUnit and PowerMock, tracking defects for engineering resolution.
• Utilize Kafka and Stunnel to manage inter-microservice communication and handle requests via SSL.
• Implement new complex functionalities in Java/J2EE and design data flows using MongoDB for RESTful APIs.
• Develop self-learning systems utilizing Machine Learning models such as Ordinary Least Squares Regression and Support Vector Machines.

Required Skills

• Minimum three years of experience developing Java/J2EE applications.
• Minimum three years of experience with Java and MongoDB in Mac/Linux environments.
• Minimum two years of experience with Spring Framework.
• Minimum two years of experience with Kafka and Stunnel.
• Experience designing data architecture and establishing data quality measures for RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks including JUnit and PowerMock.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning models like SVM and Logistic Regression.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
