Description

You will manage software baselines, build processes, and release artifacts for large telecommunications systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Compile, build, and install software baselines to ensure system integrity.
• Research and implement configuration management tools to automate build and release pipelines.
• Create and maintain configuration management plans, build procedures, and audit reports.
• Support COTS software and provide technical solutions for system anomalies.
• Set up administrator accounts, tune system performance, and contribute to Disaster Recovery Plans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Configuration Management Specialist or similar role.
• Proficiency with Revision Control/SCM tools such as SVN, Git, or GitHub.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, GCC, or similar compilers.
• Ability to perform Windows or Linux-based server configuration and installation.
• Familiarity with Linux distributions including Red Hat and CentOS.
• Experience with software build and release process automation using tools like Jenkins or Gerrit.
• Understanding of Desktop Virtualization concepts and network setup/configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SharePoint administration, design, and management.
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as Jira or Redmine.
