Description

Lead the design, implementation, and management of the central Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its taxonomy.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the CMDB taxonomy, processes, policies, and technology.
• Develop logical and physical data models for the CMDB.
• Architect the federation of data from external sources to populate the CMDB.
• Execute Configuration Management plans, including physical configuration audits and training.
• Create documentation for data models, data federation, and maintenance procedures.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with the ServiceNow ITSM platform and Discovery.
• 3+ years of experience with Service and Application Modeling.
• 3+ years of experience with Visio and process mapping methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience within the Agile software development lifecycle.
• 3+ years of experience with SAMPRO and HAMPRO activation.
• 3+ years of scripting experience using Java and Python.
• 3+ years of experience with IT Asset and CMDB processes and procedures.
• Strong understanding of ITIL ITSM lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL V3 Foundations Certification or higher.
• ServiceNow certifications.
