Description

You will manage and automate Linux server environments, owning infrastructure stability, performance, and automation workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers to ensure operational stability and performance.
• Manage infrastructure automation using Chef and StackStorm.
• Monitor system health and metrics using Prometheus.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python, Ruby, or Golang.
• Maintain version control and deployment workflows using Git.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Significant experience administering Linux servers.
• Strong proficiency with Chef configuration management.
• Experience with Prometheus for monitoring and StackStorm for automation.
• Moderate experience with Python, Ruby, or Golang.
• Proficiency with Git and shell scripting.
• Experience working in an asynchronous remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with deb packaging, archive administration, or image building.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or Concourse.
• Familiarity with continuous integration systems and concepts.
