Description

Design, implement, and maintain Confluent Kafka platforms for client environments, ensuring stable event-driven architectures and integration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Confluent Kafka platforms tailored to specific client requirements.
• Maintain platform infrastructure, establishing clear guidelines and technical guardrails.
• Apply event-driven architecture and data processing patterns to complex integration workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams and manage stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka implementations and support.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing Confluent Kafka platforms for external clients.
• Deep understanding of integration patterns and event-driven architecture principles.
• Experience managing platform guardrails, maintenance protocols, and stability.
• Strong stakeholder management and professional communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with integration tools such as Tibco or IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Familiarity with WMQ or Solace messaging systems.
• Experience with MuleSoft.
