Description

Lead technical strategy and implementation for the Confluent Event Streaming Platform, managing hybrid environments and migrating integrations from legacy systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade and maintain the Confluent Kafka platform, ensuring timely migration to latest releases.
• Design and implement technical solutions for hybrid On-prem and Confluent Cloud environments.
• Support application teams in migrating integrations from Tibco EMS to the Kafka platform.
• Manage Kafka Brokers, Schema Registry, KSQL DB, and Kafka connectors.
• Collaborate with development teams, product managers, operations, and architecture groups.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience as a Confluent Kafka SME Consultant.
• Deep hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Brokers.
• Expertise in Schema Registry and its underlying functionality.
• Hands-on experience with KSQL DB implementation and functionality.
• Proficiency with Kafka connectors and Kafka client (Producer and Consumer) functionality.
• Experience with AWS Cloud to support Confluent Kafka on cloud.
• Ability to design solutions for hybrid On-prem and Confluent Cloud environments.
