Description

Lead deep-dive testing and validation of Bluetooth modules from a product perspective, owning system-level HW/SW validation and troubleshooting connectivity issues across multiple platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans in collaboration with architects and technical leaders.
• Perform system-level HW/SW validation testing and conduct test coverage analysis.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and routers.
• Debug Bluetooth Classic and BLE issues, providing root cause analysis and suggestions.
• Configure and maintain Bluetooth lab devices and testing chambers.

Required Skills

• 10-18 years of professional experience, with at least 8 years in Bluetooth connectivity testing.
• Deep understanding of Bluetooth Classic and Low Energy (BLE) protocols and profiles.
• Experience with BT 5.2/4.1/4.0 and 2.1+EDR profile and protocol development.
• Hands-on expertise with BLE profiles including GATT, GAP, SMP, PXF, FMP, HOGP, HRM, and LE secure connection.
• Experience enhancing Bluetooth Classic profiles such as A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, OPP, HID, and PBAP.
• Working knowledge of Bluez, Bluedroid, and Fluoride stack architectures.
• Proficiency using sniffers like Wireshark for debugging.
• Strong understanding of ADB and iOS fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth SIG specifications and IEEE 802.11 standards (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz).

Preferred Skills

• Theoretical understanding of BLE Audio.
• Experience within the consumer electronics industry for a major OEM or tier-one supplier.
