Description

Lead deep-dive validation of Bluetooth modules and manage technical relationships between customers and offshore delivery teams to ensure project delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for Bluetooth connectivity across various product phases.
• Perform system-level hardware and software validation testing and test coverage analysis.
• Troubleshoot devices including routers, Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android to identify and fix connectivity issues.
• Configure and set up Bluetooth lab devices and chambers for testing environments.
• Provide root cause analysis reports and performance improvement suggestions to development teams.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Bluetooth connectivity product testing and bring-up.
• Deep understanding of Bluetooth Classic and Low Energy (BLE) technologies.
• Experience developing profiles and protocols for BT 5.2, 4.1, 4.0, and 2.1+EDR.
• Proficiency with BLE profiles including GATT, GAP, SMP, PXP, FMP, HOGP, HRM, and LE secure connection.
• Hands-on experience enhancing Bluetooth Classic profiles such as A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, OPP, HID, and PBAP.
• Expertise in Bluez, Bluedroid, and Fluoride stack architectures and custom profile development.
• Ability to use sniffers like Wireshark for debugging and protocol analysis.
• Working knowledge of ADB and iOS fundamentals.
• Understanding of Bluetooth SIG specifications and IEEE 802.11 standards (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz).

Preferred Skills

• Theoretical understanding of BLE Audio.
