You will bridge the gap between design documentation and on-site execution to ensure construction quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
Integrate with field activities to ensure alignment with drawings, specifications, and quality standards through measurements, RFIs, and as-built redlines.
Coordinate construction design across multidisciplinary teams, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping/Plumbing (MEP) professionals.
Conduct daily site walks to identify deficiencies or non-compliance and communicate issues to design engineers and construction managers.
Support construction teams with change management, material takeoffs, progress reporting, and design interpretation.
Identify opportunities for constructability improvements and report findings back to engineering teams.
Required Skills
4+ years of experience in the construction industry focused on construction systems.
Familiarity with US building codes and construction design standards.
Experience working with MEP, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or medical laboratory environments.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills for stakeholder and vendor coordination.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and make decisions based on engineering judgment.
Capacity to handle rapidly changing project requirements and timelines.
Physical ability to walk, climb ladders, and stand for long periods.
Willingness to work overtime to meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or Construction Management.
Experience with construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6.
