You will manage construction activities and equipment installation for a new battery plant production engineering project.
Responsibilities
- Plan the installation of machines and processes for new production lines.
- Manage contractors tasked with equipment installation.
- Verify installation quality for new and modified production lines.
- Assess and plan feasible options for construction-related activities.
- Coordinate manpower schedules to meet large-scale project deadlines.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management or supervision of large-scale, schedule-driven activities.
- Mechanical expertise with the ability to set, level, and adjust large, complex machinery.
- Technical understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Fluid specifications for equipment procurement.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing reviews and bid pack creation.
- Advanced use of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel to other facilities for on-the-job training.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
Preferred Skills
- Previous skilled trades experience as an Ironworker, Millwright, or Pipe Fitter.
- Direct experience with machine uncrating, installation, setting, and leveling.
