Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and events in Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps to identify threats and misconfigurations.
• Perform investigations for cloud and SaaS security incidents, including reviewing logs, alert context, and impacted resources.
• Support CSPM activities by validating security posture findings and tracking remediation progress.
• Use CASB/MCAS capabilities to assess SaaS usage, detect risky behaviors, and enforce security controls.
• Document findings, escalate high-severity issues, and maintain operational reporting for security monitoring.

Skills Required:

• 2-7 years of relevant experience in cloud security monitoring
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud for cloud security monitoring and alert triage.
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS/CASB) for SaaS visibility, detection, and investigation.
• CSPM concepts and hands-on experience using CSPM findings to drive remediation.
• SaaS security monitoring practices, including detection of risky access and policy violations.

Good to Have:

• Experience with additional Microsoft security components and related cloud security monitoring workflows.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
