Description

You will design, develop, and manage scalable Java microservices and API services on Azure, ensuring clear versioned contracts and resilient architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java backend services with a focus on concurrency, performance, and reliability.
• Implement API management patterns on Azure, including secure access, request/response handling, and versioning.
• Decompose services into microservices, managing inter-service communication and integration with external systems.
• Support deployment and quality through automated testing, monitoring readiness, and production support activities.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in Java backend service development.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating services on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, service decomposition, and reliability patterns.
• Proficiency in API development concepts, including REST-style APIs and API contracts.
• Experience with versioning strategies and consistent API governance.

Preferred Skills

• Practical exposure to Agentic AI workflows and integrations.
• AWS experience.
